Terms of service

These terms apply when a mosque or organisation ("you") uses Minara, a service provided by Kelvin Design Agency ("we", "us"). By signing up you confirm you're authorised to act for your organisation.

The service

Minara provides your organisation's website, prayer timetable, admin area, and the tools to take donations through your own Stripe account. The features in each plan are described on our pricing page.

Fees

• Plans are billed monthly in advance. A one-off setup fee covers building your site.
• We'll tell you at least 30 days before any price change.
• If a payment fails and isn't resolved, we may suspend your site until it is.

Donations

Donations are paid into your organisation's own Stripe account under your own agreement with Stripe. We never hold donation money and take no commission. You're responsible for how donations are used, for keeping Zakat and other funds as you've described them to donors, and for making Gift Aid claims correctly.

Your content and data

You own the content and data you put into Minara. You're responsible for making sure it's accurate and lawful, including prayer times, notices and your privacy policy. We process personal data on your website on your behalf, as described in our privacy policy and data processing terms.

Acceptable use

Please don't use Minara to publish anything unlawful, hateful or misleading, to send spam, or to try to access other organisations' data. We may suspend a site that breaks these rules.

Availability and support

We work hard to keep Minara running and back it up every night, but we can't promise it will never be interrupted. We provide support by email.

Cancelling

You can cancel at any time. Your site stays live until the end of the period you've paid for. You can ask us for a copy of your data before you leave.

Liability

As far as the law allows, our total liability to you in any year is limited to the fees you paid us in that year, and we aren't liable for indirect losses. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.

Changes and law

We may update these terms and will tell you about important changes. These terms are governed by the law of the part of the United Kingdom where Kelvin Design Agency is established.
